How it works at Decorators Consignment store!
For anything larger than an end table, we start with pictures. You can bring your photos or digital camera into the shop, and we will go through them to see if we have a market for your items.
You can also email us your pictures. Just go to the contact button and tell us you want to send photos. We will reply with what you need to do.
If we accept your items, you get 50% of the selling price. After an item has been on the sales floor for a month, the price is automatically reduced by ten percent each month it is unsold. The consignment period is four months. When it is over, you have two weeks to pick up your unsold items. If you don't pick up your unsold items, we will donate them to a charity .
If you are not able to transport your items, we can recommend movers who are reasonably priced.
Here's what you do:
Wrap breakables in newspaper or bubblewrap, Label every box or bag with your last name and phone number. After we go through your items, we will call you to pick up any items that we do not have a market for. If you don't pick them up, we will donate them.
Here's what you don't do:
Do not bring your items in at noon. We always have huge lunch hour traffic. If you have photos and would like to send them to us, click here.
